LAMSA Board Meeting Minutes

Board Members absent:

Meeting commenced at 6:45 pm.

1. Coed Rules were discussed.

	-It was decided to keep the time limit and get rid of the 5 run per inning rule.

	-The number of playoff teams for the A division will be 4, and for the B division will be 2.

2. Softballs

	-The league will be using the Classic Plus model of softball this year. The Classic M ball is no longer legal for USSSA.

3. Alternate player fees

	-If a player was on more than one roster on registration night they still owe the $20 fee. The schedule was created to accommodate those players.

4. Pitcher safety was discussed.

	-Joe will address players not being in the batter's box when they hit with umpires.

5. Fundraisers

	-Many different fundraising opportunities were discussed, including:

		-Mulligan's Mini Golf
		-Buffalo Wild Wings
		-McDonald's
		-Tournaments
		-Bat raffles
		-Weekly 50/50 raffles

6. Sign Program

	-Signs at the field cost $250 for a 4x8 sign.

	-For both a sign at the field and an ad on the league's website it will cost $500.

	-Prices include the sign.
